Kathleen Castro was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993 following the completion of her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of California, Riverside and her Juris Doctorate Degree from Loyola Law School.
Kathleen’s experience as a Real Estate Appraiser and Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County, along with her work at a national law firm handling debt settlement, loan modifications and bankruptcies adds great value to her clients. Kathleen loves reading and research. As a daughter of a librarian, Kathleen has a love for information and brings this value to her role as an attorney. Kathleen’s attention to detail and sincere desire to serve and protect her clients is what sets her apart.
Kathleen and her husband Loren have been married over twenty years and have two sons and one grandson. Kathleen was born in Torrance, CA and has lived in Yorba Linda for 25 years. Kathleen enjoys being active in the community, including helping high school booster clubs navigate the non-profit incorporation process. Kathleen is active in her church, having been involved with the marriage mentorship program mentoring young married couples and has taught pre-marriage seminars, preparing young engaged couples for their upcoming marriages. Kathleen has served behind the scenes on a number of projects, including but not limited to the Friends Christian High School Development Team, and Pro Bono legal advice for her church and its members. Kathleen considers it an honor and blessing to serve in this capacity.
